Dear Valued Customers,
As a family business, the health and safety of both our staff and our customers is paramount. We are committed to keeping our offices open at this time, but we are also taking precautions to help slow the spread of COVID-19 as the situation evolves. We are emailing today to advise you that in the coming weeks we may have to make some changes to some of our operational procedures.
We will be implementing the following measures in our offices and displays:
- Encouraging both staff and customers to practice social distancing. (i.e. keeping a 1.5 meter distance between one another
- Supporting staff who exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19 or who have had contact with a confirmed case to remain away from work until they receive medical clearance;
- Ensuring that all high-touch areas including counters, benches and amenities are cleaned more regularly.
As we are taking more precautions, DB Homes Staff also request that Face to face appointments must be kept to a minimum and will only be allowed for when necessary or in urgent cases and we request that you respect this decision. All correspondences must be done via email to avoid any miscommunication. Our office is geared to run remotely, so if for any reason we must close our shopfront all team members can work remotely from home.
If you are experiencing symptoms, or have been in direct contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from visiting our office. Please follow the Australian Government guidelines on self-isolation, and call the National Coronavirus Help Line on 1800 020 080 for further instruction.
In relation to the construction process as a whole, we request that you stay patient with any supplier delays as shipments and containers have been restricted and unfortunately stock is taking a longer period to arrive. If you have concerns regarding this, please speak with your site supervisor.
On a personal note, I would like to encourage you to keep a couple of things in mind as you navigate this uncertain time. First and foremost is to look out for those more vulnerable members of the community, and treat everyone with kindness at all times. Secondly, I would like to encourage you to keep safe and healthy throughout this unprecedented experience.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this time, we wish you and your families all the best.
